Composer's Note
My work Ajna grew out of my fascination with the ancient Indian concept of the Subtle Body—a non-physical, energetic aspect of a person that encompasses the mind, emotions, and life force, connecting the physical body to the soul.
The ajna chakra refers to the sixth chakra in certain yogic and tantric traditions. Chakras are understood as centers of mystical energy within the Subtle Body. The ajna chakra, in particular, is located behind the center of the forehead and is often called the “third eye.” It is associated with intuition, intellect, and clairvoyant abilities. Through meditative introspection, the ajna chakra serves as a gateway to mystical experiences, offering profound insights to the yogi.
