Bochumer Symphoniker, February 2025

As part of the chamber series Doppelrohr und Edelmetall, my Quintet for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Horn, and Bassoon closed a wide-ranging program featuring music by Danzi, Holst, Gesualdo, Zemlinsky, Mozart, and Piallolla. A sold-out crowd at the Musikforum heard the quintet as the featured work that brought the concert to a close.
I’m incredibly grateful to all of the musicians for bringing such individuality and life to my quintet. The ideas and interpretation they brought to the music were a delight.
Martina Overlöper (flute), Anke Eilhardt (oboe), Julia Puls (clarinet), Simon Mayer (horn), and Rebecca Mertens (bassoon)

At the concert with friends and colleagues Henner Diederich (left) and Thomas Blomenkamp (right).
It was such a fun and interesting program that I thought I'd share it here in the Spotlight
